Joanne, Traffic is a daily occurence. In Europe people talk a lot about the weather. I always say "here we don't have a weather problem, we have traffic". 15 years ago, it started getting worse and worse. Now days, you have to be on the freeway before 6 am. It eases a bit around 11 am but it depends. Then around 2.30 pm it gets very crowded again until 8.30 pm. If there is an accident ? forget it, but you can see a side street on the left that is very crowded too. That is Sepulveda boulevard and at rush hour, it gets as bad as the freeway. Can't beat traffic in Los Angeles. Pretty sad!
